ive just never seen one before and dont know how to un-clip it. Im sure that something else has the same sort of clip. Are any of these right, and im just doing them wrong? or is there some other way? #2001 DODGE NEON DRIVE SHAFT SENSOR LOCATION DRIVER#theres a little slot where i can reach a screw driver in there so i tried putting it in there and levering the bridge sort of red piece up and over the notches on the sensor but that didnt help. there is also a little flap on the top of the clip that i tried depressing and that gave me no luck. i tried squeezing those in hoping that would release the clip but the red pieces wouldnt budge no matter how hard i squeezed. ![]() Theres a red piece on the side i can see and i assume theres an identical piece on the opposite side that i cant see. The Neon TPS sensor is mounted to your throttle shaft, and it’s there to read the angle of your throttle blade. Whats the trick to getting that thing off? idk anything about these clips and i dont want to break it. I found it! but now i cant get the harness off. I dont want anyone with the same problem to think theyre crazy and cant find it cuz its not where it should be, cuz its not really there! You can find the crankshaft position sensor in any auto parts store. If you're testing for a short to Ground, a short to power, or an open in this circuit, you'll need to unplug all of the sensors/components this 5 Volt supply wire connects to. The PCM provides 5 Volts DC on the PPL/WHT wire to a total of 4 components (including the crankshaft position sensor).
